Chimney Flashing and S-Tile Repairs
Repair work on S-tile roofs: tile opened up around a chimney and reflashed, and missing tile replaced.
Not every job is a reroof. These are repair photos from our own work on S-tile roofs: the places where leaks usually start, which are the joints, not the middle of the field.

Opening up the chimney
Where a chimney comes through the roof, the tile around it is lifted so the flashing and the underlayment under it can be seen.

New flashing and underlayment
With the tile off, the chimney gets new metal flashing at its base and new underlayment around it before the tile goes back.

Missing tile
Broken or missing tile leaves the underlayment open to the sun, so the gaps get new tile before the next rain.
